I first bought the Spanish Pro Translator and loved it. It had a well organized and stocked library of phrases that could get you through many conversations. But the language I have wanted to have handier was French and the Oxford French Pro does not disappoint in the least. As with the Spanish, it has main categories and sub-categories that break down what you are looking for in a very concise, manageable way. That way, you arent scrolling for what you want for very long. You can find what you need pretty quickly. Secondly, it has very clear, native speakers who pronounce the words in such a way that you can actually hear them. Im all for learning dialect, but if I cant hear the word clearly enough to even know what it is I feel as if Im missing something. So Oxford totally got it right. I think thats especially important for French. As with the Spanish Pro, you can form your own combination of words to create the sentence you want which makes a big difference over any other translators. Ive bought them all and this one is the best, hands down. Highly recommended!
Additional note: for the person who paid $9.99, to give this a one-star rating doesnt accurately reflect the quality of the product. I also paid $9.99 and its the best value Ive found even at that price. I think if you contact the developer youll find they are very customer-oriented. I did and they responded extremely well. For the record, Im not a relative or friend, just a fan of a quality app. This thing is easily worth the price, whatever you paid. Just my two cents...
